It looks like a program on the OS is trying to access some Hardware and change it.
It may be a simple fix but only if you HAVE added programs that you uploaded.

What I mean is did you upload any RPM's that have not passed security checks.

Try un-adding any uploaded RPM's and try again

Try Google searching the error and add OpenSuse12.1

Try upgrading the host VirtualBox to the latest version from the
Oracle web site https://www.virtualbox.org/ and installing VirtualBox
guest additions in the appliance from
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/Virtualization:/VirtualBox_backports/openSUSE_12.1/

VirtualBox is at 4.1.8 now - both the host and guest should be at that
version. That may not be your problem but it's something you'll need
to watch anyhow.
