I submitted a build about half an hour ago and it hasn't started yet.

We had some issues with the back end services that caused the build queue to pile up - sorry about that! I managed to get one build through. But now, when I click the Build
button, it just increments the version number and doesn't even queue a build. On Wed, Dec 28, 2011 at 2:16 AM, James Tan <[hidden email]> wrote: > Hi Edward, > > > On 12/27/2011 09:01 PM, M. Do let me know if you're still having problems! Thanks, James T. |

New issue - Testdrive timeouts
Connection timed out Testdrive needs Flash enabled and access to ports 843 and 5900 - 5908 (You may have an issue with a Flash blocker, a firewall, or a proxy) I've opened the ports. This seems to be intermittent. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't, And it worked more often on Firefox than Chromium. Hello, I've noticed that the first build I created Jan 4th completed quite quickly, in a matter of minutes.
But the second build started yesterday and when i checked today was still running at over 29 hours. I've tried to remove the build and start fresh but it never completes. Is there an issue with builds now? |

Are you still having problems with your build? If so, please send me the link to your appliance. The build system is looking healthy at the moment. -- Regards, James Tan Engineering Manager, SUSE Studio Online SUSE Maxfeldstr. 5, 90409 Nuremberg, Germany |

Actually, I've managed to complete a build.
I created a new appliance and tested that one by creating a basic build. I noticed that removing a custom repo from the software sources seemed to fix this issue. I removed the custom source from the "stuck" appliances and the builds were then successful. The custom software source that I removed was created originally when I uploaded a custom RPM. I had decided not to include the RPM afterwards and that's when the builds stopped. In any case, this isn't an issue for me anymore so I'm happy to continue playing with the Studio. BTW I'm new to Studio and I'm really enjoying it! |
