Massiv problems with up and downloads

I cann't upload any big datafile ( 600MB ) and many downloads of my isoimages will even fail.

Is there anything wrong at SuSE???

I have the same problem.

I can upload small files ( 200 kB ), but I can't upload big files ( 60 MB ).

First time the upload start and stop 2mn later. After that, I can't upload again ( nothing happens ). I Need to logout to try to upload again with "upload progress" message ( which fail again ).

Now I get the same problem with my donwload. Very slow ( 200kb/s) and some of them will never start!

Also also having problems when trying to upload larger files (>500MB).

It starts to upload, but then not completes. Just stops after a while and without any message appears.

We build our solution with SuSE Studio, but now I can't build any new application while the upload of a big file ( 600MB) is not possible!!!

I now, this service is free, but this is absolutely unprofessionel!!! Next week I have to give a new Image to our customers! Is there nobody at SuSE???

thank you for reporting this problem to us!
Currently we are aware of the upload/download problem and still investigating the problem.
It looks like that not all users are affected by this problem but at least for downloads you might use download managers
like http://www.downthemall.net/ for Firefox and aria2c for the command line as a workaround.

I understand that this problem has an impact to your business and you are worried about your customer relationship.
So do we. To constantly improve Studio we need your input. So you might take some time for sending me some information about your OS (if Linux, which distro/kernel version) from where you are not able to upload files from.

Hi Wolfgang,

my download works now with 100-200 kb/s, that's enough for me. ( Downloading with firefox and SuSE 12.1 )  But my upload problem still exists.

( I use 2 SuSE 12.1 machines with firefox and konqueror and 1 ubuntu system with firefox. Same problem on every pc, but only for big files!! Smarter fileupload  allways works?! )

Nevertheless I think SuSEStudio is a great thing and haste makes waste   :-)

we made some changes to our system so that the downloads and uploads should work again reliable.
