OpenSuse 12.1 boot scripts

feenikz
Hi all,
I have an opensuse 11 32bit image from before 12 was released and it's working great; I need a 64bit image now and am forced to use 12 as opensuse 11 seems to have disappeared.

I've noticed quite a few "issues" with it, most importantly though the boot scripts don't seem to run.

What I have in suse_studio_custom from SuseStudio doesn't run at boot, nor does anything I put in after.local ?

That's what I'm specifically focused on because everything else I can work around, but while I'm here is there a way I can create an opensuse 11 image? Things like automatic login don't work, also the first install process is not as clean yet etc.

Thank you
Dave

This is related to systemd and your best approach will be to seek help
on the [hidden email] mailing list. Note, issue like this have
been discussed many times over, thus search the archives ;)

No, SUSE Studio only carries the latest openSUSE release. openSUSE 11
has been "out of support", i.e. no security updates or bug fixes since
July 23, 2010.

Again, not a Studio issue, but openSUSE 12.1. Try the openSUSE mailing list.

HTH,
Robert

You problem is related to the fact that opensuse12.1 uses systemd
instead of init for booting the system. However, the fastest way to
solve your issue may be using SLE11SP1 as your base template.
